Kiwis and the italian market
Il kiwi occupa un ruolo importante ed in espansione nel commercio mondiale di frutta fresca. L’Italia è un grande esportatore di kiwi, infatti compare come primo paese produttore nel 2011 secondo i dati della FAO.
Kiwis play an important role in the world trade market of fresh fruits. Italy itself is a big kiwi export country. In fact, it was the number one country to do it in 2011, according to the FAO data.

A livello di mercato interno, il Piemonte è la seconda regione italiana per diffusione sul territorio nazionale, dopo il Lazio. Infatti la Provincia di Cuneo e quella di Torino coprono da sole oltre il 20% della produzione italiana.
Talking about the intra-Italian market, Piemonte is placed the second region for kiwi production, after Lazio (first place). Just having a look on the province of Torino and Cuneo, they cover more than the 20% of Italian production.
L’agenzia quotidiana on line della Regione Piemonte ci dice che il kiwi rappresenta una delle prime voci dell’export con prospettive molto interessanti per il futuro.
The online daily Agency for the Piemonte region, declared Kiwis as one of the first export products, having good market prospects and potential.
